It's my friend Hannahbanana's birthday today. I want to honor her with a Tag-lish poem, which I have tried doing for the first time. I hope to make her happy by using the language which is closest to her heart. Happy birthday dear Hannah. Cheers to happy days!

What do you see?
Isa ba o lahat sila’y Iyong pag-aari?
Do you hear music
From their twinkling,
Anong musika ba,
Ang iyong naririnig?
What stories do they tell you?
May kwento nga ba sila?
Are they happy days gone by,
Masasayang araw
sana ay wag mawalay.
These happy stars
shine the most
At night, at midnight, at dawn,
Na kung saan
madilim ang langit.
Where the night
is at its darkest,
Then the stars
could shine their brightest.
Hawakan mo,
maliwanag mong bituin
Hold on to your brightest of dream.
Tomorrow soon you’ll dance
To their twinkling
At maunawaan ang kanilang awitin.
Masasayang araw
Sa iyo’y malapit na.
Kailangan mo lamang
Maniwala.
