Very well said idol. At least my term na ko now para sa mga mo na. "utility friends". Miskin papano naka learn na ko lesson. In my lifetime, I have reliquished two utility friends na. and my life went on as it should be.
A friendship requires
will, commitment, and sincerity, too.
We lose our friendship when we become patrons of the other person since the will, the commitment, and the sincerity are lost in the process when we patronize another.
When this happens, the unwritten promise (commitment) to protect the life and to promote what is morally good for the other are lost. Hence, real and sincere friendship is lost.
REAL friends are honest and true; people who feign sincerity and honesty do not count as ones. They are only "UTILITY FRIENDS"--people who befriend us to satisfy their needs. They only come to us when they NEED SOMETHING; and for the rest of the day, they go on with their lives not even thinking of what is going on with our lives. Beware!
