Vice Ganda-Jessica Soho
Not the right reporter to mess with. Maybe if it was Ruby Rodriguez, it wouldn't have appeared so obscene as she is also a comedian. For sure she wouldn't mind. What's even worse is that Vice Ganda clearly trivialized the issue of rape, which is not only rampant but is already a hugely disturbing reality that plagues our society these days. I love Vice Ganda. I used to watch him often. But these days, maybe he has become too familiar with the stage and the fame that it brings. The world of stand up comedy has a tradition of its own, I'm not talking about norms and standards, but then again it is a world that they get to share with others outside of it, after all it makes them earn a living.
I hope he takes his responsibility seriously because so many in our younger generation are watching him, too.

We don't need to hurt anyone just to make other people laugh. Iya strategies very effective gid kay we see that a lot of people are really luaghing sa iya mga jokes.
His fame and money are equally big as the hurts and humiliation of the people he is mentioning in his "JOKES".

I haven't watched this particular episode and I had never even heard of Vice Ganda before. But I read the column of Ceres Doyo last Thursday [http://humanfacebyceres.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/sue-vice-ganda.html] and was shocked.
I find professional 'gays', in any part of the world, anything but funny. And the noontime shows on Philippine TV are embarrassing and have been the same since I arrived in the country in 1971. I don't understand why they are so popular.
Some years ago when I blessed the house of a friend of yours I happened to see a show presented by a well-known person where young children were made to cry. I made an official complaint and had a letter published in the PDI. This was followed up by a government office but the matter then fizzled out. What I saw was child abuse.
The 'joke' of this person was insulting to Jessica Soho but it was deeply insulting to the many persons, including children and also including men, who have been raped.
