hay ka cute hehehe...Once in a while I introduce ilonggo words to my daughter. One day, we just heard her say "hoy" hehe.
It's good to teach them a different language early. Layla could say some spanish words (counting, different colors) she learned it from watching Dora the Explorer and here in Miami , it's being taught early in school too.
yes, it's definitely great if our kids learn several languages while they're growing. basta may gn text na si bebang sa akon one time about it. i'll have to ask her to post something about it. my own gabriel is impatient about those things, you know learning other languages. like one time insisted he learns 'no more'. after three tries he went on to say, 'AGAY!' that's his not so happy with something anymore. :P
hehehe...that's cute! well, we have friends here that teaches their kids ilonggo and when you hear them talk you will be laughing coz of the accent hehehe...one time one we were in a party and one kid told her younger sister "don't take that with you..you gonna make lapta in the house hehe" and their mom told me that she talks to them in ilonggo at home and if they answer in english she will ignore them hehehe...
